The planning for The Country Bean began in the Winter of 2007 and after a lot of meetings and hard work we opened on Febuary 3, 2009. Check out the slideshow on the left to see pictures of the progression of work on The Country Bean.

In order to create the rustic environment of The Country Bean all furntiure and counters were custom built by Country Bean Woodworking.

We appreciate the support of the city of Paola and the Paola Chamber of Commerce throughout the process of bringing The Country Bean to life.
